Research
Educating decision makers on the solutions that lead to long-term, lasting financial independence depends on our continuous examination of best practices across the country, as well as implementation of rigorous research and evaluation of our work to effectively influence stakeholders and public policy at the state and federal levels.
Burst for Prosperity has developed resources to help stakeholders, policymakers, and the general public better understand and evaluate issues that impact people in poverty. These resources include:
Evaluation Reports
Burst for Prosperity evaluates and reports on the impact of its innovative pilots and demonstration projects to learn they are helping families achieve financial independence.
- Evaluation Report of Coaching for Prosperity implemented by the King County Career Connections Education and Employment Coordinators
- Economic Independence Initiative -- Farm Incubator Project Evaluation Report

White Papers
The core of the Burst for Prosperity mission centers on system change. One of the critical steps in the systems change process is the need for policy reviews to highlight best practices and policies that are entered and actively engaged in the debate to encourage a flexible and appropriate system that ultimately leads families on the path to financial independence.
Burst for Prosperity introduces its white paper series which highlights its programmatic work, policy reviews, and systems chance analyses. The white paper series will consider overall policy frameworks, as well as specific policy proposals, for creating systemic change to help lower-income families on the path to financial independence. The white paper series will provide data and analysis, future policy direction, and principles and best practices that contribute to the development of a progressive policy vision.
